Palm has just announced a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 (WM6) for all Treo 750 and 750v users, available immediately.
What's new? Here's some information from the press release:
"The update... brings increased functionality, an enhanced user interface and strengthened security and performance to the Treo 750 smartphone. The Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system will facilitate faster data-download speeds to take advantage of 3G/UMTS/HSDPA networks. Additionally, it includes enhanced security and productivity tools such as storage card data encryption and the ability for IT departments to wipe data remotely if a device is lost, giving businesses confidence to use Treo smartphones to accomplish critical business tasks."
